He had two masters degrees, one in Counseling and one in Special Education. He is a graduate of Hofstra University. He was born in New York City to James and Elizabeth Morrissey on August 21, 1922. He is the beloved husband of Mabel for over 58 years. Loving father of David and his wife Teresa, Amy Schoeller and her husband Kenneth, Suzanne Morrissey-Jimenez and her husband Fernando and Allison Managas and her husband Frank. Cherished grandpa of William, Kenneth, David Jr., Caitlyn, Joshua, Victoria, Olivia and Gabi. Adored great grandfather of Gia-Ann. Dear brother of Thomas O’Sullivan and Gertrude Gordon. Reposing at the O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 1001 Rt. 25A, Miller Place, N.Y. Visitation Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Mass Friday 10 am. at St. Anselm’s Episcopal church, Shoreham. Cremation to follow at Washington Memorial Park, Mt. Sinai, N.Y.
