Bonnie Claire Allec

A viewing will be held prior to the services in the Relief Society Room and opened to the public from 9:00-10:30 am, a private meeting will be held from 10:30-11:00 for all close family and friends in the Relief Society Room.

Internment will be held following the Services at the Dayton Cemetery.

Our loving mother, Bonnie Claire Allec, 85, of Carson City, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026, surrounded by family.

Bonnie was born on September 6, 1940, in Winnemucca, Nevada to Howard Edgar Browne Sr. and Vera May Haviland Browne. She spent the early years of her life growing up in Austin, Nevada where her father was a District Attorney for Lander County. After Austin, Bonnie moved with her family to Reno, Nevada where her father continued his law career. She attended Billinghurst Middle School in Reno, Nevada, followed by her freshman and sophomore year at Reno High School. Bonnie attended Rowland Hall School for Girls in Salt Lake City, Utah for her junior year and St. Mary's Wasatch in Salt Lake City, Utah for her senior year, upon which she graduated high school in 1959. Bonnie started her career working as a telephone operator. She spent the next several decades working as a secretary for the State of Nevada, where she retired. Bonnie is known for her strong work ethic, raising 5 boys and 2 girls, all of which graduated from Carson City High School, obtaining a very successful career with rental properties, being a cancer survivor, and growing her family to over 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Bonnie has a deep love for each of her family members and many doggies through-out her life.

Bonnie enjoyed bowling, snow skiing, water skiing, basketball, tennis, playing pool, laying on the beaches of Lake Tahoe or sitting by the pool at Wild Waters. She loved playing solitaire, posting on Facebook and watching her 7:30 pm Wheel of Fortune. Bonnie will be remembered for her generosity and for helping those who needed a place to live until they got on their feet.

Bonnie is survived by her 6 children, Kevin Allec (North Carolina), Dana Allec Sr (Las Vegas), Melanie Allec Mason (Greg) (Gardnerville), Joseph Allec (Carson City), Jerry Allec (Carson City) Anthony (Tony) Allec (Carson City), 4 Step Children, Patricia Goodwinasire (Mark) (Georgia), Everett A Allec Jr. (Annette) (Tennessee), Kathy Carlson (Reno), Jason Allec (Florida) 15 Grand Children, 14 Great-Grandchildren and 13 Step Grandchildren. Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents Howard Edgar Browne Sr. and Vera Mae Haviland Browne, brothers Howard Edgar Browne Jr., baby boy Browne, husband of 46 years Everett A. Allec Sr., daughter Marcella Marie Allec, granddaughter Natalie Marie Martin (Melanie) and great granddaughter McKinLee Lynn Wilson (Kaitlyn)
