Pam Pugliese-Centi passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 20, 2026 with her husband by her side. She was born in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania in 1955 to Louis and Helen Pugliese and grew up in San Jose, California. She moved to North Lake Tahoe in 1983 and then to Carson Valley in 1991 with her husband Larry , where she was a resident for over 35 years. All her life, Pam was known for being warm, kind, and generous, and always putting others ahead of herself.
Pam was well-known and respected in the business and banking community for over 42 years, starting in San Jose, California at 18 years old, and continuing that career in North Lake Tahoe, and then with Citi National Bank in Minden, Nevada. She gave her time freely to her community and was dedicated to her work as a volunteer with horses, children, and the Minden Rotary Club. She found joy in the simple and beautiful things - her animals, her dogs Bodie and Josie, her horses Chance and Ruby, and the outdoors she loved so much.
Above all, Pam shared a life full of love and memories with her husband of 44 years, Larry, her best friend. Together, they filled each day with joy and laughter, camping, fly fishing, gardening, traveling, and enjoying the home and life she and Larry built together.
Pam is survived by her husband, Larry; her brother, Frank (Beth), sister Fiona, and brother-in-law, Tim (Debbie); her nieces and nephews, Alexander (Samantha), Annie (Cody), Corey, Christie (Chad), Darren (Victoria), and Melissa (Justin); and great nieces and nephews, Brea, Gigi, Dillion, Dean, Duke, and Santino.
Pam is deeply loved by her family, including her extended family in Texas and Pennsylvania, numerous friends, and those whose lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by all. To be loved by Pam was to feel held - like being wrapped in the warmest hug.
Someday,
Everything Will
Make Perfect Sense.
For Now, Laugh At
The Confusion, Smile
Through The Tears,
And Keep Reminding
Yourself That
Everything Happens
For A Reason.
