Moss, Alice Jean of Minneapolis, left us for her long awaited walk with Jesus on January the 6th, 2013 in her 86th year. She was born October 24, 1926 in Minneapolis to Arvid and Margaret Olson. She was welcomed by her husband of 59 years, Donald, daughter Jeannie, daughter-in-law Caroline, cousin and dear friend Alice Schmitz who preceded her in death. She will be missed by her loving children, Dan Moss, Margie Kokkila (Pete), David Moss, Deedee Alstadt (Gary), Don Moss (Anna); fond memories are shared by her 11 grandchildren, Brenda (Jason), Steve (Alyssa), Ryan (Asjla), Kyle, Christina (Kenny), Donnie, Michael, Jeannie, Alex, Ally, Mandy and 7 Great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Jada, Jenesis, Mason, Xander, Kaitlyn, Joab and good friends Paul and Eve Koppie and many other family and friends. Alice will be remembered for many things -- her strong catholic faith, her big blue Irish eyes, homemade potato salad and pickles, her artistic talents, love for her cabin and most of all her kindness and thoughtfulness to everyone she met.
Alice's love and care for family, friends, pets and caregivers sowed blessings that continue to ripple all around. Many thanks to her
children, grandchildren, family, friends, Health Partners Hospice (Susan and Fidel) for the loving care they provided to her, at her
home, while fighting an aggressive battle of Alzheimer's Disease.
