Edward Ralph Wuori

Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Erma Wuori; stepmother, Emily Wuori; sister-in-law, Dee Wuori and great grandson, Dakota Church.

He is survived by his wife, Diane Wuori; children, Rebecca (Craig) Percy, Matthew (Heather) Wuori and Melissa Wuori; brother, Allen (Rita) Wuori; granddaughters, Autumn (Andrew) Church, Kaleigh (Kevin) Manzanares, Morgyn Wuori (Andrew), Devyn Hagland (Nathan).

Ed was born on July 12, 1942 in Hibbing, MN and grew up in Hibbing. He loved his family, especially his grand-girls, Autumn, Kaleigh Morgyn and Devyn. He loved animals with special love for rescue dogs, spoiling any and all of them. Even as a young child, electronics were a great interest to him and he always knew he wanted to "do that" as he put it. He went to get his PhD in Electrical Engineering at the U of M. He put his many talents to use working and consulting for Honeywell, 3M, Cardiac pacemaker to name a few as well as being part of several startup businesses and eventually established a few of his own businesses.

There will be a memorial celebration of life on Saturday, February 7, 2026.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be sent to any Animal Rescue organization such as No Dogs Left Behind.
