To all of you in the Falkum Family, I was so very, very sorry to hear of Evie's passing.  Although not unexpected, it always hurts to get the final word that your loved one has passed.  It has saddened me deeply and it has once again reminded me of just how fragile life is.  Words seem so inadequate at a time like this but know that these words are being sent with my deepest and most heartfelt sympathy.  

I remember how Evie loved her Bingo and she was so good at it.  She was, also, a wonderful cook.  Evie always had a smile on her face and always looked so nice whenever I saw her.....a very together lady.  Over the years, there were several times in conversation when Evie told me how much her boys meant to her and her face would just beam with love.  She then went on to say how Blessed she was with her sons families and everyone else in the Falkum Family.  I will always remember all the holidays I shared with Evie and Kenneth.....lots of good memories.  I, also, remember after every Christmas some years back, Evie and Kenneth would hop in their white Cadillac and head to Florida where it was nice and warm while the rest of us stayed in Minnesota to brave the winter weather.

I know you will miss Evie (and Kenneth) deeply, but I, also, know that you recognize the Blessings of the many beautiful years you shared with both of them.  Evie will be greatly missed by family, friends, and many who knew her and I will miss her, too.  I only hope and pray that you will all find peace and comfort from the many cherished memories that you made together and shared with both Evie and Kenneth over the many years you had together.  May the many precious, cherished memories help sustain you through this difficult time in the days, months, and years that lie ahead.  May God Bless you all.

I have been a volunteer with Augustana for many years. She was in my pen pal program. I loved this lady. She always remembered me and enjoyed getting a letter each month from one of my students. She was kind, elegant, and very thoughtful of everyone. The pictures you shared were so much fun to see her over the years. What wonderful memories.
