L.J, Tim, Jeff, Laurie, and Kim, I am sorry to hear of your loss.  When I got the call and heard the news I was so saddened but know your dad Johnny is so happy in Bonnie's arms with his cigar and a glass of Jim playing cards with Connie laughing about all the good Ole days watching and guiding over us all! John was my God father and while it’s been years since I’ve seen him, while I was younger and working at Broadway pizza. John and Bonnie would bowl on Fridays at Elsie’s and then come by for a pizza afterward. Tall and handsome always with a hug and kiss. Fond memories❤️❤️

Rest in piece John we had a lot of fun working together at warning lites playing horse shoes and having a couple cold ones you will be missed your friend Ricky wicks

When we were children at 1200 5th St N, you were always the brother that annoyed me with your teasing and scaring during storms. But there was always a kindness and mischievous side to you that couldn’t be ignored. When two kids got kicked out of a roadside casino for repeatedly peeping at their parents through the windows, you were the one keeping me entertained with Candyland in our family camper. The love of a brother cannot be replaced. RIP John, with mom and dad in heaven.

I ALWAYS wanted to go to Uncle John's house as a kid. The giant screen television, the Nintendo,  playing "Travel Agent" with Aunt Bonnie, TOBIE! I still have the highway cone you stole for me from Warning Lights. You were a gentle giant just like grandpa and a weirdo with a randy side just like grandma. 

May your Milwaukee's Best be ever flowing in heaven; keep the La-Z-Boy warm for us.

I am so very sorry. My condolences to the entire family. Even though I wasn't family, John always treated me as if I was. I loved getting to know him over the years. A gentle, great man he was. He will be greatly missed.
