I too echo what has been said about dear Linda. What an incredible person she was. For our profession, she gave so much. She stepped up willingly, when no one else wanted to and did a magnificent job always. 
We thank you and your family for the many times Linda wasn’t available to us. She practically lived at the capital during our biggest battles.

Dear Chuck and family, I wept when I found out about Linda's death.  Linda you are the reason I am involved in MANA!  You are the smartest woman I have ever met.  When you called me to run for the MANA Board, I gave you the " let me ask my wife..."line.  Only to find that you had called my wife 2 days earlier to ask her first. What could I say? I will forever remember the passion you had  for nurse anesthesia when meeting with elected officials.  You were so quick to respond and so articulate, especially during the MN Nurse Practice Act hearings. I will miss you my great mentor. God bless you and your family.

This picture was taken the day the MN legislature passed the APRN Bill granting APRNs in MN independent practice.
Linda was instrumental in leading the way to secure the bill’s passage.  MN CRNAs and all MN APRNs owe Linda a debt of gratitude.
Linda was my colleague and more importantly a valued friend.
I will miss you Linda.

Many people, even her CRNA colleagues have no idea how tirelessly Linda worked on behalf of her lifetime profession.  All  Minnesota CRNAs, indeed nationwide CRNA practice is better because of efforts by Linda. She served three terms as state president- the only person to have done that three times. Thank you Linda.  I’m blessed to have served with you and so appreciate your commitment to nurse anesthesiology.  RIP

I am sad to hear of Linda's passing and so sorry for your loss. I got to know Linda during our work together to pass the APRN full practice authority bill. She was such a powerhouse for advocacy and extremely effective at the Capitol in lobbying for the bill's passage.  She was the ultimate professional and a wonderful CRNA. As passionate as she was about her profession, she was doubly devoted to her family. She absolutely glowed when she talked about her fun travels & life with you and the joy she derived from spending time with her children & grandchildren. She was a beautiful soul and will be deeply missed. You and your family are in my thoughts. Take care.

Dear Chuck and family,
I was so saddened to hear of Linda's passing. You probably remember me, I was am OR nurse at St Mary's when Linda was a student and lived across the street on St Anthony Blvd from her. I do believe she was at ANW for a short time too when I was there. I am so very sorry for your loss, I hope it was peaceful

I am so sorry for your loss.  Linda personified a Fridley parent and was one of my favorite people to see at school events.   Always kind and happy to see you.  I also had several knee surgeries and she was my nurse!   Unreal how much better I felt seeing her there.    This is a real loss because of how she made every day and interaction meaningful.  My family will be thinking of yours a lot during these tough days. 


Dearest Linda and Chuck, you are in our heart and prayers. Linda ,you will always be remembered for your crazy stories (life events). I remember our first time on call together at MMC; I was grateful that we had only a few cases that night as we got to know each other better. You were such a comfort as a call partner and colleague; you were a great CRNA. I will cherish your service to Nurse Anesthetists in Minnesota and beyond the state boundaries. You were the energizer bunny. I will never forget you.

So sorry to hear about Linda. I had the privilege of knowing her personally and professionally on the MnANA board. She was a great CRNA and one of the leaders that helped get the nurse practice act passed. Sorry she has left us and you her family too soon. Hope you are doing okay.
