IN THE CARE OF

Sunset & Kapala-Glodek Funeral Home and Sunset Cemetery

Age 92, of Minneapolis, passed away on Wednesday, March 6th, 2019. He was peaceful and surrounded by family.

He spent much of his younger years volunteering with the Knights of Columbus. Louis was an avid reader of spy mysteries and World War II history.

Louis is survived by his children, Greg (Meri), Elizabeth (Ray), Louise (Steve); six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Rose; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by wife, Sophia; parents; two brothers; sister; and a granddaughter.

Mass of Christian burial held at 11 am on Wednesday, March 13th at St. William Catholic Church (6120 5th St. NE, Fridley). Visitation one hour prior to services at the church. Private interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers, family request donations be sent to a local Veterans organization, American Legion or Knights of Columbus.
