She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Mears; parents, Paul and Kathryn Baranko and brother, Daniel Baranko.
Margaret is survived by her niece, Kim Baranko.
Born 12/17/38 in Minneapolis, MN. She enjoyed her work with Burlington Northern Railroad for over 30 years. She lived with the love of her life, husband Budd. She loved her cabin in Maple Lake, books, bowling, travel and time with family and friends. She was a bright light in everyone’s life. No one will ever forget her kindness, sense of humor and generosity.

Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at Church of Blessed Sacrament, St. Paul at 10:30 am with a visitation beginning at 9:30 am. Burial will be held at Sunset Cemetery, Minneapolis at 1:30 pm.
