Patrick William Kelly

Patrick William Kelly, a beloved and devoted husband, son and brother passed away on October 16, 2025, at the age of 72. Born on May 5, 1953, in St. Paul, Minnesota, Patrick was known for his faithful and kind-hearted nature.

Patrick attended Frank B. Kellogg High School in Minnesota. Following his graduation, he joined the Navy, where he served with dedication for four years. After his military service, Patrick embarked on a long and successful career with Northwestern Bell, eventually retiring from Century Link after 38 years of committed service.

On September 21, 1987, Patrick married Jean the love of his life, marking the beginning of a cherished partnership.

In his personal life, Patrick had a passion for magic, coins, and cards, particularly enjoying sleight of hand. He also had a deep love for music, which brought him joy throughout his life.

His memory will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by parents, Lauree Sutton and Edgar "Jim" Kelly.

Patrick is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jean; siblings, Maureen (Roger) McDonough and Joseph (Pat) Kelly; furry companion, Ozzy Henry.

Per Patrick's wishes, there will be no formal services. A private burial will be held at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 1pm-4pm.
