Rachel Virginia Weisz

Preceded in death by her husband Victor.

Survived by children Vickie (Mark), Todd (Kathy). Grandchildren Tony, Tawnya (Adam), Jacqueline (Dan), Nick (Ariah). Great grandchildren Dominic, Roman, Isabella, Giavanna, and Jaxson.

Rachel was born in Long Lake, SD; one of 9 children to Adolf and Anna Scheid. She took great pride in her family and loved to spoil her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a lover of cards and games. Rachel was strong in her faith and a longtime member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church. She loved gatherings and hosting holiday events at her home. She had a very generous spirit. Her legacy will continue to live on through her family. We miss her dearly, but we find comfort Rachel and Victor are together once again.

A service will be held for family and friends on Tuesday, March 4th at St. Matthew Lutheran Church 4101 Washington St NE Columbia Heights, MN at 11:00am. Visitation one hour prior at 10:00am and luncheon to follow service.
