Steve was born on March 7, 1951 in St. Paul, MN to Wally and Jean Myllenbeck. He graduated from Ramsey High School and Bemidji State University, where he received BA in English and a minor in History. He received a two year technical degree in Transportation Consulting.
He started his own transportation consulting business called "APT Transportation."
Steve enjoyed volunteering his time as a firefighter with the Lake Johanna Fire Department for 20 years; loved coaching bowling, baseball and in the recent years, he worked in the Mounds View school district as a building supervisor in the after school program, where he got to interact with elementary school kids playing basketball.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Gloria; son, Evan; grandchildren, Owen and Jasper and sister, Claudia Dubinsky.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Jean Myllenbeck; and brother, William Myllenbeck.
