He was born in Vancouver, British Columbia on November 22nd, 1937.
Charlie will be lovingly remembered by Brother Dennis, Children Cindy (Linda), Randy, Debbie, Lori (Kurt), Grandchildren Shantel (Kurt), Cole (Katie), Kevin (Quin), Christyna (J.P), Kyle and Chelsea. Great Grandchildren Stephen, Alexis, Austin, Nixon, Bryn, Emryn, Ella-Marie, Sadie-Grace along with Nieces, Nephews and many good friends.
He was predeceased by the love of his life Joan (2020), Parents Sonny and Isabel, and Brothers Reg and Ron.
Charlie enjoyed umpiring Mission girls softball no matter what age and enjoyed it until the age of 82.
He had a long career with Commonwealth Construction till early retirement. Always enjoyed walks along the river with mom and liked the fishing and hunting trip with his best friend Russ Wilcox, and fishing trips and projects with his nephew Darren Whieldon.
He loved his garden, always planting too much but enjoyed sharing with family and neighbors. Loved to play crib with whoever wanted to play, especially his Granddaughter Shantel.
If family and friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to the Mission Hospice Society.
