Genia "Jane" Mah

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jane, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Born on June 16, 1942, in Poplarfield, Manitoba, Jane lived a life filled with love, laughter, and kindness. She departed this world peacefully, surrounded by her family, on September 4, 2026.

Jane was the cherished daughter of Bill and Ann Segin, who instilled in her a strong sense of family and community. She was predeceased by her loving parents, her brothers Walter and John, her sister Sophie, and her grandson Eric. Their memories and influences remained a guiding light throughout her life.

In 1961, she married Allan, the love of her life. Together they shared 65 wonderful years of marriage, a testament to their enduring love and commitment. Their journey together was one filled with joy, mutual respect, and unwavering support for one another.

Jane's legacy is carried forward by her devoted husband, Allan, her treasured children, Jeff (Norma) and Rhonda and her beloved grandchildren, Taylor, Savannah (Tyler), Cassidy, Eric and Lauren. She was also blessed with two delightful great-grandchildren, Scarlett and Cohen, who brought immense joy to her later years.

A nurturing and compassionate soul, Jane dedicated her life to her family. She found her greatest joy in the company of her children and grandchildren, always eager to share stories, offer guidance, and celebrate their achievements. Her home was a haven of warmth and love, where everyone felt welcome and cherished.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Christine Morrison Hospice for their exceptional care and compassion during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Jane's memory to the Christine Morrison Hospice, an organization close to their hearts.

Jane's presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Her spirit of generosity and kindness will continue to inspire those who loved her. As we celebrate her life, we hold onto the beautiful memories she left behind and the legacy of love that she has passed on.
