Irene Durward

passed away peacefully on Nov. 24, 2023, in Mission BC, at the age of 95.

Mom was born on Oct. 6, 1928 in Zalozce, Poland (Zaliztsi, Ukraine)

She is survived by and will be lovingly remembered by

Her son Stan Wiaderny (Nancy) London, On., her daughter Helen (Wiaderny) Gailing (Sheldon) Mission, BC, her Sister Susan (Stojkiewicz) Battram London, On, her Grandchildren Sandi (Gross) Mander (Steve) Mission, BC, Christy (Wiaderny) Mangano (Rob) & Nichole (Wiaderny) Strain (Bob) London, Natasha Gailing-Clifton (Jason) Calgary, Ab, On, her Great Grandchildren Samantha Mander Edmonton, Ab, Ryan Mander Mission, BC, Logan Mangano & Natalie Mangano London, On, Spencer Strain, Tanner Strain, Tyler Strain London, On, Kingston Clifton, Paxton Clifton, Calgary, Ab and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Jozef Wiaderny,

mother Eugenia Stojkiewicz, father Walter Stojkiewicz, brother Stefan Stojkiewicz, sisters Kornelia Labucki and Janina Wiaderny.

She will be laid to rest in a private graveside service at St. Peter’s Cemetery, London, On along with her husband Jozef Wiaderny.

She was a kind, loving, caring and giving person.She loved to fish when she could.

Her favorite saying when asked what was in the soup, stew, etc would be “Everything But the Kitchen Sink”.

She will be missed by all.
