John Bates Threlfall, loving husband and father passed away on Aug 2, 2019 at the age of 82 years. John was born on May, 25, 1937 at home in Matsqui, BC to James and Myrtle Threlfall. He was the youngest of three boys. He was predeceased by his parents Myrtle and James and brothers, Gordon and Donald.

He is lovingly remembered by his wife and soulmate, Barb, of 34 years; his children, Bill (Marsha) and Vivian (Ken) Edwards; daughter in law Laurie (Jim) Threlfall-Fillion, five grandchildren, Wendy, Kyla, Megan, Caitlin and Ryan; great grandchildren, Alex, Logan and Christiana, sister in-law Nadeane (David) as well as many, nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.

John liked fishing, cribbage, gardening and puttering about.
