Joe was predeceased by his sons Michael and Derek.

And left to grieve is his wife of 49yrs Erin, daughter in law Renee, only daughter Thamar{Neil}, youngest son Joey{Janna}, also adored grandchildren Morgan{Kevin}, Mikayla, Karissa, Michael, Brodee, Lynknn, Samaira, Samson,Elias and Jaxon and great grandchildren Benjamin, Isla, Logan and Connor.

Joe was born in Celldomolk Hungary. When he was 11yrs old his family and many others were forced to flee the country in the middle of the night. And our God, whom Joe did not know yet, gave them all safe passage. His family soon after was relocated to Madsen Ontario, a small mining town. At age 15 he entered the workforce to mine. Eventually he made his way to B.C. where he met and married Erin.

Very soon after they had their 1st son Derek, then Michael. Then in 1979 just before their daughter Thamar was born both Joe gave his heart to the Lord !!. Then their son Joey was born.

Joe by this time was now working at Finning Tractor till he retired.

In health Joe struggled.gracefully in the last 10yrs of his life. Then our Lord with great peace, gently carried him home, surrounded by his family he so loved.

A Funeral Service will be held at North Valley Baptist Church, 32715 Cherry Ave, Mission, BC, V2V 2T8, CA, on June 25, 2026, at 12:00 pm.

A Graveside Service will be held at Hatzic Cemetery, 34867 Cemetery Ave, Mission, BC, V2V 6Y6, CA, on June 25, 2026, at 1:30 pm.
