Lance, I will always remember a part of my life when we were close friends, all the things we did and all the places we went. There isnt a corner of my home town that I dont remember a time when you were there, that has and will always last with me forever. I have and will miss those day, always,
You will be in our hearts.

I never thought you would leave us so soon. You were always kind to your younger cousins and how we all looked up to you. The first out the gate to Graduate High-school, I remember you wanted to be a Chef. I think you cooked dinner for us at your family Graduation party. lol. Our parents were all so proud of you that day as we’re your cousins. You were an amazing role model; eager to help, listen and lend a hand. There was always fun to be had at the Maus residence; while our parents “parented” we ran a muck. From the trampoline where you double bounced us to the sky and then the ground, water fights in the hottub, through the basement and around the house. Whenever there was a family get together we made the best of it. I was lucky enough to have you take one of Belle’s puppies whom then became your best friend; Duke. Oh the crazy stories I’d hear from your parents and you of his tricks and antics. You are loved and will always be in our hearts. “Until the day we meet again, in my heart is where I’ll keep you friend” RIP Lance 🙏❤️

It’s hard not to see Lance Maus in my mind whenever I think back to High School as he was such a big Character in Caf class. He was funny, friendly, helpful and never acted like He was better than anyone . And then there was Drama class with Lance which was even better , awesome Guy and gone too soon. May you rest In Peace Lance.

Nobody lit up a room like Lance did, whether it be with laughter or discussion. Nobody touched a heart quite like Lance did, always willing to lend a hand. Lance was such a genuine soul who was always kind & caring, and a true friend. This is such a sad passing and I know how deeply and dearly Lance will be missed by so many. I will never forget your big smile and your quirky German accent, you were a great friend. I'm honoured to have known you and in this sadness I will be greatful for the time we had together and the memories we shall hold dear.
Rest Easy Lance...... until we meet again...... you will always be loved and missed so very much!!!

As kids Mike Lance and Wes we were inseparable we would be on our bikes in the forest playing war games camping in the backyards we all spent our time growing up. We went to school together and even hanging out and doing things as adults. Lance is going to be so early and deeply missed as he was an inspiration to a lot of people and me as well. R i p till we meet again brother

It is never easy to say good bye to a loved one but even more difficult when it is the child of a beloved family member. The hurt will never go away but hopefully the pain will ease as time goes by. What we must do is remember all the happiness Lance brought to his family and close friends. He had a deep love for his family and especially had a special place in his heart for his young nephews. Do not dwell on the sadness of the day but keep in your heart your love for Lance and celebrate his short time with us. Lance, we will always remember you for your freckled smiles and the penchant for a good heated discussion. I know you will be watching so be at peace and know your are loved by many. With lots of love Uncle Tom and Auntie Helen. RIP
