He will be remembered for his love of hockey, kindness, bright smile and his Christian faith that never waivered.

He was predeceased by his parents Leopold Henri Viau, and Agnes Baillie Viau. His siblings Andrew, Helen, John and Sandra. His wife Eileen Viau (Divorced) and the love of his life, Yvonne West-Viau.
If you had the time and the ear, Ray loved to tell stories of his youth growing up in the small town of McMasterville, Quebec. Ray was a veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, loved sports, but his favorite was hockey. He played and coached. Ray’s favorite team was the New York Rangers and could talk for hours about hockey.
Thank you dad for sharing your life stories with me and for giving Terry and I a great childhood.
I will miss you.
