She was predeceased by her parents William and Phyllis (Harriman) Killick, and her aunt Dorothy Harriman.
Mary-Ellen will be sadly missed by her beloved husband Ron Wilkes, her best friend and companion for over 45 years.
Born in Montreal, she resided in Lacolle, Quebec, then moved to Ottawa to attend university. It was there, after graduation and starting a career in the insurance industry that she met her future husband. Mary-Ellen was a dedicated and passionate underwriting advocate in the insurance industry until she retired at 63. Her commitment and countless hours she invested in helping other professionals truly set her apart. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of life will be held in the new year. In remembrance of Mary-Ellen, donations to Saints (Dog Rescue for Elderly Dogs) in Mission, one of her favourite charities, would be appreciated.
