Mike was born in Mission and grew up in hatzic prairie.
He loved his community and chose to reside in Mission, and raise his family here.
Despite a lot of setbacks, he made a place for himself in the construction trade building and renovating homes.
Mike volunteered in the community as a soccer and baseball coach, and loved every minute of it.
From his love of fishing, Mike was fortunate enough to become part of the best group of fishing buddies anyone could ask for.
One of Mike’s favourite pastimes was cards of any kind. He was always up for a poker tournament and every Friday he played rumoli with two of his favourite people.
Mike passed away the way he lived life head down, eyes closed and full speed ahead.
A Celebration of Life for Mike will be held Friday, January 24, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Woodlawn Mission Funeral Home, 7386 Horne Street, Mission, BC V2V3Y7.
