It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Paulo Henrique Pinheiro.

Paulo was a cherished son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. He was a happy, lighthearted man who loved to laugh, joke, and lift the spirits of everyone around him. Full of energy and humour, he lived each day with curiosity, joy, and a deep love for life.

A man of many hobbies, Paulo found happiness in the things he created and explored. He loved the arts—painting, building, and working with his hands. He played guitar, rode motorbikes, and crafted handmade jewellery and a variety of handcrafted items, which he proudly called his art. Paulo was also creative in the kitchen and loved preparing dishes to share—meals made better by lively conversation and the company of others.

Paulo had a natural gift for mentoring and believed deeply in the value of open-mindedness. He encouraged others to keep learning, to ask questions, and to pursue knowledge through curiosity and research. He inspired those around him to think freely and never stop exploring ideas.

He was fascinated with the stars. He spent time stargazing through his telescope and exploring astrology, always drawn to the beauty and mystery of the universe. Whether browsing through shops, painting in his workshop, or jamming on his guitar, Paulo saw the world with wonder and warmth.

One cherished memory from his brother Newton recalls a moment when they travelled to Jerusalem, Israel:

“In Jerusalem, we sat under a bridge while Paulo played his guitar. Travellers from around the world stopped to listen. For those few moments, there was joy and connection in the air. Paulo was always full of light, with a heart open to the world.”

His adventures took him around the globe. While living in the United Kingdom, he sold his creations at Camden Market—handmade jewellery and artistic pieces that reflected his passion and talent.

In 2010, Paulo moved to Canada to be with his wife, RaeAnn Raymond. He made his home in Abbotsford, British Columbia, where he lived for the next 15 years. Though their union shifted over time, Paulo and RaeAnn remained close friends and steady supports to one another. He later founded Braz-Can Construction, where he brought his skills, creativity, and love of building into every project.

Paulo is lovingly remembered by his mother, Aparecida de Lourdes Silva Arruda; his father, Ivan Balico Pinheiro; his siblings Newton, Andreia, and Ligia Renata Pinheiro; his daughter, Elis Rabetti Pinheiro; and his two granddaughters.

As Newton shares in his final tribute:

“You will always be in our hearts, Paulo. I love you, my brother. Rest in peace.”

É com profunda tristeza que anunciamos o falecimento repentino e inesperado de Paulo Henrique Pinheiro.

Paulo foi um filho, irmão, pai, avô e amigo muito amado. Era um homem alegre e bem-humorado, que adorava fazer piadas e levantar o ânimo de todos ao seu redor. Cheio de energia e alegria, viveu cada dia com curiosidade, entusiasmo e um profundo amor pela vida.

Homem de muitos hobbies, Paulo encontrava felicidade nas coisas que criava e explorava. Amava as artes—pintar, construir e trabalhar com as mãos. Tocava violão, andava de moto, criava joias artesanais e diversos itens feitos à mão, que orgulhosamente chamava de sua arte. Também era criativo na cozinha e adorava preparar pratos para compartilhar—refeições que se tornavam ainda melhores com boas conversas e a presença de pessoas queridas.

Paulo tinha um dom natural para orientar os outros e acreditava profundamente no valor da mente aberta. Incentivava todos a continuar aprendendo, fazer perguntas e buscar conhecimento por meio da curiosidade e da pesquisa. Inspirava as pessoas ao seu redor a pensar livremente e nunca deixar de explorar novas ideias.

Era fascinado pelas estrelas. Passava horas observando o céu com seu telescópio e explorando a astrologia, sempre atraído pela beleza e mistério do universo. Seja navegando por lojas, pintando em sua oficina ou tocando violão, Paulo enxergava o mundo com encanto e ternura.

Uma memória especial compartilhada por seu irmão Newton relembra uma viagem a Jerusalém, Israel:

“Em Jerusalém, sentamos sob uma ponte enquanto Paulo tocava violão. Viajantes de todo o mundo pararam para ouvir. Por alguns momentos, houve alegria e conexão no ar. Paulo sempre foi cheio de luz, com o coração aberto para o mundo.”

Suas aventuras o levaram por diversos cantos do mundo. Enquanto morava no Reino Unido, vendia suas criações no Camden Market—joias feitas à mão e peças artísticas que refletiam sua paixão e talento.

Em 2010, Paulo mudou-se para o Canadá para se juntar à sua esposa, RaeAnn Raymond. Estabeleceu-se em Abbotsford, Colúmbia Britânica, onde viveu pelos últimos 15 anos. Embora sua união tenha mudado com o tempo, Paulo e RaeAnn continuaram amigos próximos e apoio constante um ao outro. Posteriormente, fundou a Braz-Can Construction, onde aplicou suas habilidades, criatividade e amor pela construção em cada projeto.

Paulo será sempre lembrado com carinho por sua mãe, Aparecida de Lourdes Silva Arruda; seu pai, Ivan Balico Pinheiro; seus irmãos Newton, Andreia e Ligia Renata Pinheiro; sua filha, Elis Rabetti Pinheiro; e suas duas netas.

Como compartilha Newton em sua homenagem final:

“Você estará sempre em nossos corações, Paulo. Te amo, meu irmão. Descanse em paz.”
