It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce that Sonya (Bohay) passed away peacefully on March 4th, 2022. Born in Goodeve, Sask. called Maple Ridge home for the last 49 years & never liked anyone fussing about her age. She is predeceased by her husband Wilfred, parents Fred, Pearl & sister Silvia, she leaves behind her sister/best friend Laura & son’s Brent & Brad (Angel) & countless nieces/nephews, cousins & friends. She loved to bake, make perogies & spend time with her friends from the Tri-Hard Walkers & TOPS/KOPS. Thank you (Dr) Ed, Dr. Little & all the nurses from the RM ICU. Sonya had a big heart and gave to pretty much every charity possible. A private family service to be held & in lieu of flowers, please support the Heart & Stoke Foundation, Ridge Meadows Hospital, Ukrainian Relief or a charity of your choice.
