It is impossible for my family to look back at our childhoods and not have a significant memory involving the Klenk family and Wendy. Our youth was intertwined, particularly the high school years. She was an extraordinary individual, full of warmth and kindness. We are all feeling this to our core, deep in our souls. Our love and prayers go out to the family. Please take some comfort knowing that it is impossible to remember Wendy without smiling and thinking of a happy moment with her. She was a friend in the truest sense of the word. Incredible loss, she will be missed!

Marilyn and I were deeply saddened to hear of Wendy's passing.

I worked with Wendy for many years and her dedication to our community and in particular her caring for youth was a constant theme throughout her various roles with the District . She was a true community builder supporting programming in all areas of the community- sports, arts and culture, youth to seniors, to name only a few.

Our thoughts and hearts go out to the family.

I had the great pleasure of working with Wendy during my tenure in Mission and am deeply saddened to learn of her passing. She was an ardent advocate for so many of the initiatives that we worked on on behalf of the youth in Mission. My sincere condolences to all her family! Her smile will be sorely missed.
