Pete was my best friend in H.S. He taught me the guitar and was always there for me. Pete’s smile and laugh was contagious  and we had many memories. Our paths went separate ways after we married. I tried to reconnect but was unable to do so.

Pete, I think of you often and miss you, my heart is heavy to learn of your passing but I am sure we will see each other again; Rest In Peace my friend.

As a good friend to Pete's son Leo I extend my condolences to the family.  Leo is such a genuinely great guy, due in no small part, I am sure, to Pete's example.

We had the privilege to make many wonderful memories with Pete in the 70's. We loved him dearly. We are so sorry for your loss. We send our love and prayers to the whole Ferrante family.

Peter, PeterRoss and I are thinking of all of you as you celebrate Pete's remarkable life and the memories you all shared. While I will probably always feel cheated that we could not expand on our adult friendship (that began in July 2014), we'll all always remember the few days we were able to spend with Pete   and feel lucky that we had the pleasure of getting to know him, to see and hear how happy and proud he was of his two sons and the way their lives intertwined and how much he loved his mother and wife.

I remember Pete Ferrante as a great Father to two boys who loved him dearly, Leo and Dean.

A great mentor of mine Leo Pete Ferrante taught me the meaning of hard work, dedication, and thoroughness. I will never forget swinging my 26 ounce California framing hammer alongside him and his sons. I owe a lot of my success in the U.S. Army, to Pete for teaching me what it is to be a hardworking man. I look forward to building a house or two with him in Gods Kingdom. Best wishes to the Ferrante & Huffsmith families.

To my "First Friend",  Pete, you were there in the wee hours of my life, to greet me as my new big brother with a big welcoming smile.  You greeted many new siblings after me, you learned the important things in life are our relationships.  By the time you were 7 ears old you greeted 6 siblings, always with a smile.  I guess that's why you maintained good relationships throughout your life.  I admire you for using your God given gifts to pass on to your two sons, and to many others.  Your musical talents and friendships are the best legacy.  You received your gifts from God and you shared, passing them on for lifetimes of memories to come.  First Friends are Forever Friends.
