McAllen – Carlos Rodriguez, 63 went to the Lord on Saturday September 12, 2015 at McAllen Medical Center surrounded by family. He was born and raised in Edinburg, TX. SSgt Rodriguez served 6 years in U.S. Marine Corps "Semper Fi".
He is survived by his daughter Cynthia Cano(Marcos), his parents Genaro and Emilia Rodriguez, his siblings Rosendo Rodriguez(Delia), Fernando Rodriguez(Gloria), Anna Maria Cisneros(Jose Luis), Alicia Guerra(Eduardo) Senaida Ayala(Daniel), Rogelio Rodriguez, Sonia Rodriguez (Pilo) and Leonardo Rodriguez. He is also survived by his grandchildren Larisa Nicole, Ali Jeremiah and Carlos Alberto Cano; and by numerous family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 14, 2015 at Funeraria Del Angel from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission. Burial and military honors by local AL/VFW post will follow at the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel of Mission.
