She is survived by her loving husband, Gildardo Acosta; her children Carlos Acosta(Sarah), Gerson Acosta(Julia) and Janette Martinez(David); by her grandchildren Zachary, Matthew, Sophia, Levi and Nora. She is also survived by her siblings Gloria Salazar, Mario Escudero and Manuel Escudero.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 2, 2108 at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11:00 am at Rio Valley Church in McAllen. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission. Services are under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel of Mission.
