Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife of 58 years, Lidia Olivarez Hernandez; children, Belinda (Eliseo Mendiola, Jr.) Mendiola, Ruben (Irasema) Hernandez, Belma (Larry) Bustamante; grandchildren, Jenilee Hernandez, Eliseo Mendiola, III, Christina Mendiola, Loriann Hernandez, and Mia Bella Hernandez.
Family received friends Friday, July 22, 2016 from 5pm - 9pm with a rosary at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission. A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 1pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in McAllen. Burial followed to Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission. Having the distinguished honor to have served as pallbearers were Ruben Hernandez, Larry Bustamante, Nadeem Abu-Hala, Jerry Farias, Patrick Guerrero, and Amador Olivarez, Jr. Funeral Services have been entrusted to Funeraria Del Angel of Mission.
