Guillermo "Memo" Gonzalez

It is with great sadness that the family of Guillermo Gonzalez Maya announces his passing after a battle with several illnesses, on Thursday , October 4, 2019, at the age of 83 years. “Memo” as all his family and friends called him was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Together we rejoice knowing Memo is now in the loving arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ. Daddy your legacy of love will forever be lived out through each one of us.

Memo will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Olga and her six children, Guillermo (Migdalia), Sergio (Aide), Evert (Edith ) Sally (Joe), Adriana (Jack) and Olga (Napoleon). Memo will also be fondly remembered by his ten grandchildren, Guillermo IV, Sergio (Alisha), Luis Carlos (Ruby), Adabelle, Evert (Lily), Edgar (Tasha), Erik, Adrian, Vallery, and Josiah; also by 5 great-grandchildren By his sisters, María de Jesús (Rafael) María Obdulia (Ángel), Martha(Juan) and by Soledad (Eliezer).

Memo was predeceased by his brother Sergio Gonzalez (Yolanda) and his sister María Victoria Perez (Mario) his brothers-in-law Rafael Gutierrez and Eliazer Castañeda. The Funeral Service in memory of Memo will be held today, Friday, October 5, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Funeraria Del Angel at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
