Maria De Jesus Espinoza

Born in Olmito, Texas, on November 3, 1950, Maria was a woman of strength, elegance, and unwavering dedication to her family. She was a loving and devoted wife to her husband, and a caring mother to her children.

Maria was known for her strict, no-nonsense approach to life. She had a unique way of keeping everyone in check while ensuring they felt her love and care. Her disciplined, organized nature set the foundation for everything she did—from sewing and cooking to raising her children with the highest standards of respect and responsibility. She enjoyed the little things in life and liked to capture them with pictures.

A skilled accountant, Maria worked tirelessly throughout her life, starting at a young age. Her professionalism, elegance, and dedication were matched only by her unwavering support for others. Whether offering financial help or providing moral guidance, Maria was always there to help those she loved.

Maria is survived by her devoted husband; Pedro Espinoza, children; Wendy Espinoza (Jesse Uribe), Harley Espinoza, and Pierre Espinoza (Jackie Esteves), sister Angela Cervantes, nieces Maria D. Reymundo, Eunice Trevino, Bethany Rojas, and Melany Rojas, nephew Freddy Reymundo, and her godson Norberto Cartagena Jr. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

There will be a visitation Sunday, February 23, 2025, from 1:00PM to 9:00PM with a Rosary at 7:00PM at Funeraria Del Angel 3611 N Taylor Rd. Mission, TX 78573.

Maria’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched with her kindness, generosity, and strength.
