EDINBURG - Mary E. Perez 50, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 16, 2014 in Edinburg. Mary was born in Edinburg, Texas to Ausencio Perez and Maria Elena Perez. Mary dedicated 20 years of her life as a teacher aide for the E.C.I.S.D. She is preceded in death by her father, Ausencio Perez. She is survived by her husband, Rogelio Cervantes; her children, Rogelio Cervantes, Jr., Elvira Michelle Anne Cervantes and Rueben Cisco Cervantes. Mary is also survived by her siblings, Luis (Juana) Almanza of Pharr,TX, Janie (Lupe) Garcia of Edinburg, Olga (Leonel) Lopez of Edinburg, Ausencio (Martha) Perez, Jr. of San Antonio, TX, Joey (Ann Paradise) Perez of Edinburg, Norma (Julio) Camacho of Edinburg, Angelica (Daniel) Sanchez of Edinburg, Ginger (Arturo, Jr.) Luna of Edinburg, Oscar (Susana Rodriguez) Perez of Edinburg; mother, Maria Elena Perez and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, daughter, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed. Family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service today, Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Funeraria del Angel in Mission. Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Funeraria del Angel in Mission. Interment will follow to Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission. The family wishes to express their gratitude for all the support and prayers from friends during this difficult time.
