Mirthala S. Diaz

Mirthala went peacefully to be with the Lord on January 14, 2025.

Mirthala is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved spouse, Alberto Diaz; her daughter, Miroslava Diaz; son, Alberto Diaz Jr.; daughter in-law, Ofilia Diaz; brother, Ruben Santamaria Jr. and great granddaughter, Andrea Miroslava.

Mirthala is survived by her daughter, Maricela Diaz Evans; son in-law, William Ernest Evans; son, Andres Diaz; daughter in-law, Cynthia Diaz, grandchildren, Maggie, Marcela, Allison, Albert III, Maribel, Aaron, Maritza, William Jr., Richard, Andy Jr. Christopher, Angela and 18 grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. Two sisters; Graciela Santamaria and Aida Garcia, and 6 nieces and 3 nephews.

Mirthala was a graduate of Academia Comercial Hidalgo in Mexico, earning a Business Degree with a major in accounting. She worked many years as a dedicated accountant and was also a proud Co-Founder of Diaz Floors & Interiors, where she made significant contributions to the business.

Mirthala was known for her unwavering commitment to serving with love at Sacred Heart Church. Her faith and dedication were an inspiration to all who knew her. She greatly enjoyed the company of family and friends over tea and sweets. In her earlier years, she also enjoyed traveling with her spouse and family, creating cherished memories along the way.

Mirthala was a wonderful spouse, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, always providing love, support, guidance and always blessing with a beautiful prayer. She was one of the most loving and generous souls, who truly loved blessing everyone she encountered with her warmth and selflessness.

Mirthala will be deeply missed but forever remembered in our hearts for her loving spirit and the lasting impact she made on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
