Olivia Valdez, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026, in Hidalgo, Texas, at the age of 98. She lived a long and meaningful life rooted in faith, family, and love.

Born on August 5, 1927, Olivia was a woman of quiet strength and deep devotion. She was preceded in death by her parents and her cherished daughter, Maria Elena Mireles, whom she carried in her heart every day.

Olivia leaves behind her loving children, Herlinda Sieger and Joe Martin, who were the pride of her life. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy and purpose.
