

On June 16, 2011, Vincent Avery Soto was chosen by God to join Him in Heaven. He was born in McAllen, Texas on March 4, 1989. Vincent was a loving son, an exceptional and loving grandson, a dear brother, a caring cousin, a devoted fiancée, and an unconditional friend who will be greatly missed.
Vincent is survived by his parents Ray Soto (Katie) and Joni Pearson (Vivin); his brothers John Rekward and Ray Soto II; his grandparents Fred and Elinor Avery, Everett Rex and Karen (+) Denney, and Alfonso (+) and Anita Soto; his loving and devoted fiancée Diana Hernandez; and numerous uncles , aunts, cousins, and great-cousins.
Vincent loved sports. His favorite team was the San Francisco 49ers and his favorite players were Brian Urlacher and LeBron James. He was an avid gamer hunter, fisherman, and he excelled in fantasy football. He attended South Texas College, maintaining a 3.0 GPA with an interest in Physics and Biology (Electrical Engineering and Mining). Vincent was a member of McAllen Grace Brethren Church, the South Texas Indian Dancers and the Lipan Apache Tribe of Texas. His Indian name was Gedlonzi Shi An'aa Ashyaa ("He Makes Me Smile").
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2011, from 9:00 AM until 9:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Memorial service at Del Angel Funeral Home in Mission, Tx. A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Del Angel Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Garden located across the street from Del Angel.
