Anne- what an amazing spirit and woman. We worked together at Mission Hospital in Labor and Delivery. You could always count on her to be straightforward and never cruel. And then there is the smile! Full of life. She did so much with the little time she had on this planet. R.I.P. Anne

Anne is my sister, so where do I begin to tell you how much she meant to me and my life...

She is so much more than my sister; she is my friend, my confidant, my jokester, my partner when family crimes were committed, my listener when I needed one, she was that person, in my darkest of days, that shined the beacon of love and acceptance, and just one of the best elements of my life that kept my compass true. She understood me...I'll miss that.

We laughed until we cried and cried until we laughed together. I'll never "belly laugh" like I did  with Anne. I'll miss that laughter....

Anne's  hugs were legendary; When I could barely stand after the  loss of my first child, she was my rock, that caring soul that helped me take my next breath, she understood my grief and I knew it just through her hugs. I'll miss those hugs....

When our mother passed away we leaned on each other through our shared memories of her. She would tell me something about mom, then I'd share a story and we went back forth until, well you know, we were belly laughing like we did together. I'll miss sharing memories with her...

When it came to her true love, well everyone that knew Anne, knows what that is....her family. Anne had the broadest definition of family ever known. It wasn't just her Dad, Mom and brothers and their families, I  wasn't just Curt, Brittany, Bryan and Troy, it wasn't her friends too numerous to mention, it wasn't any one one of  those but rather ALL of those and more were her family. She loved fiercely and without reservation to each and every one of them as if she were their sole protector. I'll miss that love...

I'll miss Anne's insight, her passion for life, her willingness to help anyone in any situation, her "glass half full" perspective,

I miss my sister....I love you Anne...always and forever.

Anne was the kind of friend that came around once in a lifetime.  She  came into my life at a time I needed a buddy, someone who knew my heart and shared my life’s goals.  She was my boss, my best friend, my confidant and the keeper of my secrets. We laughed until it hurt! We cried together and dreamed dreams together.  We studied all night and ate unnatural amounts of chocolate together.  We watched babies born and cried together at losses. Anne was the closest to a sister I’ve ever had. I am a Nurse because she lit the fire under me. Anne was the biggest encourager and cheerleader. My life, as so many others is better because she lived on this Earth. Our last face to face talk was about Heaven. She was so excited to get there. Her last text to me was “I’ll see you soon... I’ll be waiting for you. “ I miss her so, but I’ll see you soon  my lovely friend💕

I owe my entire career to Anne. I was a new momma to be sitting in her Lamaze class 19 years ago when I turned to my husband and said I can totally do this job! I later went up to her after class and said, how do I become you! That began her mentor ship. She walked me through not only the birth of my girls, but also inspired me to later become an IBCLC. She kept me in line when I became too confident, pushed me when I wanted to quit, taught me how to guide other women. She was my boss, mentor, friend. She was hilarious, fun, strict, and makes learning fun. She handled her life with joy and comedy. I would not be who I am today without her. She is the reason I finally took the leap of faith to go into nursing school. Anne, thank you for believing in me, and telling me I can when I wanted to say I can’t. You are so loved and admired. Thank you for changing so many lives.

I worked as a labor and delivery nurse at Mission Hospital with Anne.  I will never forget her sense of humor, her dedication to her profession and being the best nurse she could be. I loved hearing stories about her kids. She was so proud of each one of them. She adored her husband. We enjoyed time together outside of the hospital celebrating friendship. I will never forget you, Anne. So blessed to have known you. 

I will always remember Anne and the light and love she brought to this life with her passion for her profession  of nursing and her love for her beautiful family and friends! She was  like a sister to me and I will miss her soo much!💔😢💔  We had such great times working together, attending nursing conferences together, and going on dates with our favorite men together! Her phrase “And how’d that work out for you?” MMM-UH makes me smile to this day! She will live in my heart forever. RIP my sweet Annie, love you my sissy! Feel soo very blessed  and grateful to have had you in my life! Thanks for ALWAYS believing in me and helping me to attain my Clinical IV RN.  You made a difference in soo many lives, you really did! To the love of my life. I miss you more than you'll ever know. I miss your smile, I miss your laugh, I miss your touch. I miss.... you!

You were an  extraordinary mother, nurse, friend, partner and wife.  So many good memories over the past 30+ years, you made everything so special. Family was what mattered most and I'm going to do my best to continue the traditions you so loved.

You will forever be in my heart, I love you my sweets.
