We celebrate the life of Carol Ann Huebler born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Dr. Gilbert and Irma Niebler. With her loving husband, Donald Huebler, by her side, Carol peacefully passed gaining her angel wings in her home in Laguna Woods, California.
Carol was loved by all and known as a kind gentle person.
She graduated from Washington High School in 1958 and went on to attend the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee graduating with a bachelor’s degree. She skipped her graduation ceremony to join Donald right away in Tacoma, Washington where his Army National Guard unit was activated. She was a teacher for many years and later worked as an office administrator. Carol formerly was a longtime member of Eastern Star, and as a young lady a member of Job’s Daughters.
Her interests were enjoying nature, birds and animals especially while they lived on their six-acre land in Germantown, WI. She also loved to play the piano and traveling with family and friends. Carol and Donald enjoyed going for walks together, and one would always see them walking along hand-in-hand or sitting on a bench holding hands.
Carol is survived by her husband, Donald, daughters Cheryl Howard (James Howard) and Joyce Wu (Daniel Wu), grandchildren McKynzie Howard and Brandon Wu, and siblings Charles Niebler (Carol Niebler) and Jan Breitzmann.
