I remember Donna as a hard-working, calm secretary. She was  very good at her job of booking substitute teachers for the Ferndale Schools. I remember calling her with emergencies we had at Jackson Elementry  School. and  she did a great job of getting the needed coverage. I recall that she had a good sense of humor and a lovely laugh.  I hope she had a good life and will remember her kindly.
 

Donna Buch, was a loyal, hard working, honest, and helpful member of the Ferndale Family. She loved helping teachers and administrators of the school district do their job and improve  learning as she handled telephone calls early in the morning arranging substitute teachers. She was always helpful,  often in  trying circumstances. 

She loved her family and was devoted to Bob. When Martha and I visited Donna and Bob in California, we were treated like royalty.  

I know Amy and Shari will miss her love, but will carry wonderful memories throughout life! My thoughts and prayers are with you and especially Donna.   

I had the honor & pleasure of working with Donna @ Ferndale School District.  You could not have asked for a more hard working employee then her.  I worked in the Business Office all those years and watched Donna otherwise known as "Buckie" by the Supt. of Schools, Bill Coyne, stand at the copy machine (which was huge back in those days) print thousands of copies for teachers & employees as well. 
At the holiday time, Donna, would cook a full course meal for the entire Central staff for a luncheon. Donna was such a giving person to all.  She was missed when she left for CA to be with her kids & Bob.
Donna, you will be missed by your family I'm sure.  As well as  your friends here in Michigan.
May you rest in peace, and now in comfort as you once again are with your beloved Bob. 


I had the pleasure of knowing Donna for 10 years in Laguna Woods.  Donna had the kindest soul and was a beautiful, caring lady.  I wish I could tell her how much it meant to me and my mom when she visited and checked up on my mom.  We love you Donna, and we miss you.  Rest In Peace my friend.  Love, Diana Hearn
