Edward Henry Collins, 74 of Lake Forest, CA passed away Monday, December 4th. Ed was born on January 2, 1943 in Fall River, Massachusetts to Henry and Isabella (Smith) Collins. The family moved to California when Ed was 12 years old. He grew up and attended schools in California. Following High School, Ed enlisted in the US Navy, served his country honorably during the Vietnam Era and returned home where he attended trade school. Ed worked as a Sheet Metal Worker for over 50 years. He loved his cars, especially detailing them. He loved going to Disneyland, music, Snoopy and Charlie Brown. Ed is survived by his wife Mary A. Collins, one son Greg Collins; grandson Maxwell Collins and extended family. A memorial service with Military Honors for Ed will be held on Friday, December 15, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Fairhaven Memorial Services Chapel, 27856 Center Drive, Mission Viejo, CA. A reception will follow at Fairhaven Mission Viejo Reception Center.
