Born in Calexico, CA son of Charles F. Innis a Seventh Day Adventist Minister, and Mary Molina, homemaker. Siblings Charles Innis (Deceased), Lucien Innis, Joe Innis and Esther Tarver. He grew up in Cherry Valley/Loma Linda California. Enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1952, spent 2 years in the Korean War and was discharged in 1958. Married to Joyce Mildred White for 60 years until her death in 2018. Survived by his children Judith Cohen and her husband Dr. Daniel Cohen, Jayne Stember and her husband Richard Stember and James Innis. Also, survived by his grandchildren, Jeremy Miller along with his wife Belle and their children Luis and Jacob, Jayme Miller, Dr. Jeffrey Cohen, Kathryn Cohen and Jared Cohen and step-grandson David Stember. After his discharge from the Marine Corps. he received his AA degree and shortly after began his career as an Industrial Engineer for McDonnell Douglas Corporation for 27 years taking an early retirement at age 57. He was a member of the Freemasonry for 40 years. After boredom set in he took positions at The Anaheim Convention Center and Selco Corporation. His hobbies included photography, spending time with family and friends, and traveling. Services will be held Friday, November 27th at 11:45 at The Veterans National Cemetery in Riverside California.
