John “Jack” Jarrett was born on January 12, 1934, in Salamanca, NY. Boyhood home was in Little Valley, NY until 1955, when he moved to California. He died at his home in Mission Viejo, California on December 21, 2017 at 5:30 pm, at peace and with the Lord, at the age of 83. Jack volunteered for the Army during the Korean Conflict in 1953 at 19 years of age, and served for two years. Jack’s career path took him into the coffee industry, and he was a coffee salesman for over 50 years; he learned the business with Farmer Bros. Coffee Co., Torrance, California, then moved on to a national company with Dine-Mor Foods out of St. Louis, Missouri, which later merged with Royal Cup Coffee, Birmingham, Alabama. Jack gave his life to Jesus as a born again Christian in 1992. He was known to give away Bibles during his travels on various bumpy airplane rides. He retired in 2006 to a life of leisure and soon thereafter purchased a cabin at the Little Valley, NY Rod and Gun Club, which became his Summer home. Many high school friends welcomed him home, once again. He is preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth, his brother, William, and a precious granddaughter, Makenna. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Victoria Lois Jarrett; four children, Gregory, Philip, and Matthew Jarrett, and Jacquelyn Jarrett Farina. He has twelve surviving grandchildren {Sean, Jessica, Matthew, Cheyenne, Austin, Nicholas, Spencer, Taylor, Levi, Beverly, Andrea and William} and he has been blessed with eight great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be on January 12, 2018, at 1 pm, at Calvary Chapel of Rancho Santa Margarita, 30615 Avenida De Las Flores, Rancho Santa Margarita, California 92688, officiated by Senior Pastor John Kanno. Light refreshments and beverages will be provided after the service at the church. PLEASE write a note about your personal or business encounters with Jack, and/or attach your favorite photo to this website, as it would be a blessing to Vickey and the family.
