Michael Gene Cummings “The King” January 7, 1964 – May 12, 2016 The world as we know it will never be the same; the face of our angel is now shining from the heavens above. Our beloved Father, Husband, Grandfather, Son, Brother, Uncle, Family Member and Friend has taken his forever seat with God. He lost his battle and long fight with liver disease on May 12, 2016 at UCLA. To say he fought would be an understatement; he was literally a “Terminator” that would not quit. His first love was his family, his second love was his family, his third love was his family and somewhere in between all of that love, he loved baseball (Angels and Minor League Teams), he loved work, he loved Christmas, he loved watching the sopranos, he loved going to the movies with his wife, he loved Maui, he loved being heard, he loved to share stories, he loved the idea of living on an island in the middle of the crystal clear ocean with him and his “Queen”, He loved a simple day at home with his family cuddling and laughing, he simply just loved living LIFE… He has a great view sitting in his castle in the sky, with his crown on his head, watching over everyone he loves and adores. For eternity, he now is doing what he does best, making sure that “Everything is Taken Care Of” We will all miss his laughter, his smile, his big bear hugs, his shoulder to lean on, his strength, his unconditional love, his kindness, his good and bad jokes, his long and crazy stories, his opinions, his dedication, his ideas, his body and arms to cuddle in, his deep voice, his loud laugh, his leadership, his generosity, his friendship, his love for this country, his gentleness, his beautiful eyes, his handsome face, his big hands to hold, his dancing around the Christmas tree, his bravery, his will to help others at all times, his love regardless of all situations, his seat being all the way back while driving, his pride for his boys, his rebellious ways……..and him ALWAYS picking up the tab to pay He is loved and survived by his mother Carole Pendleton, his wife Amy Cummings, aka, “his Queen” of 18 years, his three amazing boys Casey Cummings & wife Sarah, their beautiful daughter Madelyn “his Princess” (Mike’s first and only grandchild……. and the joy of his life) His son Tony Caballero, his son Michael Cummings, his sister Debbie Lawrence, his brother Ronald Cummings and wife Cindy, his brother Eddie Cummings, his brother Carl Cummings and wife Kim, and his brother Dale Cummings and husband Louie. All of his nieces and nephews who will forever carry a very special place in their hearts for their Uncle Mike Mike was an extraordinary person and will be missed by EVERYONE he came in touch with… Save us a seat in your castle Mike… until we meet again…”never say goodbye, say see you later”
