Today just like most days you came to my mind. My hearts aches and feels your loss. Not a single day goes by that I don't miss your sweet tone, lovely smile and words of wisdom. 
I miss you terribly in my life and Steve misses his sister from another mother! 
I hope wherever you are now you're happy and smiling at us from above. Heaven is lucky to have you....
With all my heart miss and can't find a way to fill the hole you created in our hearts....

Your beautiful smile always brought one to my face. Your sweet spirit, unforgettable.  I have always enjoyed talking with you sometimes in passing but especially the time Ray and I shared lunch with you and your husband. 
The gifts you shared with me I will now treasure and each time I place them out at Christmas I will smile as I think of how special and thoughtful you were. Oh Nahid I’m so sad your gone yet so very glad to have known you, You will be missed but never forgotten 🌺❤️

Nahid was a contagious source of kindness and taught friends and family to add gift of kindness to their “purpose of life”.

We live through the lives we touch. Dear Nahid you have touched so many lives with your kindness, understanding, generosity, creativity and wisdom that your legacy remains alive for years to come. You left way too early and we miss you so much.....

She was kindhearted, admired, unforgettable, generous, respected, caring, strong and happy.
I have a lots of good memories of her and she will be deeply missed and always will be in my heart.

It is with a heavy heart but fond memories that I share my thoughts on our beloved Nahid Khanom. I met her when she, her husband, and son visited us as a family in North Carolina. I still recall the earrings they brought me as a gift. I later spent some time as a young adult in Orange County and for a week, stayed with Nahid Khanom and Mehdi Agha. They were wonderful hosts and I hope I was not too much of an imposition during this time. I recall the kabab dinner the first night, an outing to the mall, the grapefruits in the back garden, and my making a rollette dessert for a party. She even brought me some magazines from her work which published advance copies. My hosts were kind and gracious and always kept in contact with my family. They are genuinely lovely people, which makes this passing even more sad. Mine and my family's thoughts and condolences are with Mehdi Agha and Nahid Khanom's family. 

I’ll never forget the first time I visited the U.S 16 years ago, Khaleh Nahid offered to get my plane ticket to visit her in L.A and ended up making the long journey from OC to Sanfrancisco with Amoo Mehdi to see me and my sister.  Glad we finally managed to make the trip to your house a couple of summers ago. Such a warm, generous soul. Khaleh Nahid I love you so much and I can’t wait to see you again. Nahid and I met when we were sitting at the back of the classroom at the age of 13. It wasn’t long before we had our girl gang which included Mitra and Farzaneh. We were inseparable! I’m so lucky to say despite life’s ups & downs and all living in different countries this hasn’t changed. Ever since we were young, Nahid was a positive soul, always happy and excitable, making the dullest things exciting. Her heart was one of the biggest Iv ever seen and her strength was like no other. Nahid joon, my beautiful best friend, thank you for being by my side for the last 50 years. You are irreplaceable and I will miss you terribly. I am thankful for last summer. <3 Mahnaz xx

Nahid had such a joy for life.  I have so many awesome memories of her kindness as well as her spark.  I have witnessed her pull off pranks with the best of them, but at the same time she would lend a hand however she could.   My children call her Aunti Nahid, because during the time I worked with her, every Christmas she would give them a movie ticket and $5 for popcorn.  It became a Christmas tradition to see a movie each year.  This is a wonderful memory our family has of her loving kindness.  God has taken a star from earth to put it in heaven to watch over us all.  May she rest in peace. 

Nahid Joon was my fairy godmother. The most nonjudgmental, pure, all that is good, and full of love. I never met anyone like her. I loved her so much and I miss her so much. She is my angel now. Every big decision I’ll make I’ll think what she would do or think. Every big moment in my life I wish she would be there standing next to me, but I know though that she is always there and always will be next to me.  Always and forever.

Naheed was an angel. She was my my best friend and I loved her. She was is my little boy’s favorite person and he is only 5 years old and still up to this day he still asks, when is Naheed coming to see me? Naheed joon we’ve missed you so much and you will be missed for eternity. Your memories and all of your kindnesses  will always keep you alive in our hearts and minds. We Love you❤️.
