Dad - there are no words to how much you’re missed. Forever and always I will be your little girl, turned to mom/wife. I’m forever grateful you got to walk me down the aisle to Bill- and hold Kinsley in the process. We are missing you so much as a dad and grandfather, father in law, and everything in between.
I am completely devastated but know you’re at peace from the stresses life may bring. I do not think you were ready to leave your children and we will forever miss you and think about you daily.
I will bring you in heart to angel games, Eagles games, in my work, and in my motherhood. Kinsley still asks to call popop and I will navigate that and keep your memory alive. 
Dad - you were my best friend in life and my example of moral, character , hard work, parenthood - you were everything.
It’s still not real. I love you dearly.

Hi Dad,

Well, I never would have thought this day would come so soon, yet here it is. I love you and miss you. In some way I felt closer to you again when I was back there for your services, but feel a little more distant. I don't know that we've gone this long without talking since after Iraq.

I saw that you were looking at pictures of me a couple of days before you left here. That warmed my heart. I also finally got into the old Lenovo and saw all the photos on there. Somehow, I always just thought maybe you were less proud than you actually were. 

I know I made you worry about me so much. And I guess I just thought you were Ironman - invincible and even though you had feelings it was like you were just so strong it really didn't bother you. But that was always just my perception of you. That you were invincible. 

I know you're looking down here now. And I hope that you're still happy. I love you Dad. Forever.
