Agnes Marie Blackston, 89, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 30, 2019. She is survived by six of her nine children: William H. Blackston III, Trezzavon Blackston, Duncan E. Blackston, Dannie B. Blackston, Tammy Blackston-Lucy, and Henryetta Blackston-Wiley; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; brother, Al Tamont Plowdern; sister, Della Sherod; three beloved Daughters-in-law; and one dedicated son-in-law. Pallbearers include: Duncan E. Blackston, Dannie B. Blackston, William H. Blackston III, Trezzavon Blackston, Grady L. Ward Jr., and Anthony Blackston.
Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile, Alabama. Funeral services will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 3 p.m. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery on Mobile Street. The Repast will be at the Harmon Recreation Center located at 1611 Belfast St., Mobile, Alabama following the interment.
