Albernita Rosemary "Punnie" Bosarge

Albernita Rosemary Bosarge – born December 31, 1937, passed away at her home on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. “Punnie”, as she was known to her family and friends, was a 1960 graduate of Spring Hill College. She worked as a medical technologist for 40 years, retiring from Springhill Memorial Hospital and U.S. A. Children and Women’s Hospital laboratories.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Joseph Lee Bosarge, Jr.; three children, Joseph Lee Bosarge, III (Della Jane), Laurie Leigh Rel (Javier), and Michael H. Bosarge (Tanya); and three brothers, Rudolph Harvey Straub (Rose Nell), Phillip G. Straub (Sherry), and Gerald T. Straub (Donna). She also leaves to cherish her memory six grandchildren, Bryan, Ashton, Stefan, Jeremey, Vivian, and Christine, and three great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Luke, and Wyatt.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Corpus Christi Catholic Church on Monday, January 29, 2018, at 11 a.m. with the Very Reverend James F. Zoghby, V.F. serving as Celebrant. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until the service hour. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the U.S. A.
