Angela C. Harbison

Angela danced into this world on March 2, 1939 in Bayou La Batre, AL to Sara Elizabeth Waterall Hall and Henry Thomas Hall. She was a lifelong resident of Bayou La Batre, and was best known for her devotion to God, her family, and dance, her life lessons, her sense of humor, and always going in that van. She was a pillar to every community she was a part of – such as Kelly’s Dance Academy, Mobile Ballet, Mobile Junior Miss, Sheffield’s School of the Dance, Christ United Church, and many others. Angela was a strong woman of faith, family, and servitude. She loved everyone she met, and she never met a stranger.

Angela is survived by her daughter; Kelly Grable, grandson; Brandon Grable (Kaylyn), granddaughter; Sara Butler (Stephen), daughter-in-law; Richelle Harbison, one great grandson; Luka Grable, her brother-in-law; Hudson Harbison, her sister-in-law; Emily Harbison, her nieces; Jewel Barbour (Brock) and Sherry Hall (Rufus), her nephew; Ray Harbison (April), many honorary grandchildren, the KDA family, many foreign exchange granddaughters around the world, recently discovered and met family from England, plus many other family and friends that will miss Angela deeply.

Angela was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Louis Harbison, her son; Russell Harbison, and some other extended family members that met her at Heaven’s gate.

A wake for Angela will be held Sunday, August 3, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM (with family visitation starting at 3:00 PM) at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Alabama 36606. A visitation will occur Monday, August 4, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM (with family visitation starting at 9:30 AM) at Christ United Church, 6101 Grelot Rd, Mobile, AL 36609. A celebration of life service will occur Monday, August 4, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Christ United Church, 6101 Grelot Rd, Mobile, AL 36609.

Angela will be laid to rest in Oddfellows Cemetery, 12510 Irvington Bayou La Batre Hwy, Irvington, AL, 36544.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages any donations be sent to Mobile Ballet or Christ United Church.
