A graduate of Alba High School, she worked as a secretary to the Commanding Officer at the United States Coast Guard base in Mobile, Alabama. After she retired from this position, she lived out her days serving her community by volunteering at Providence Hospital, attending church at Wood Ridge Baptist Church and spending time with her family.
Anita is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Martha Zirlott, her husband Steve Manning and daughter-in-law Mieke Ralph. She is survived by her two sons Charles Ralph (Bobbie), and Kenneth Brian Ralph (Charlotte). Five grandchildren, Robby Ralph, Tanya Horn (Jesse), Kenneth M. Ralph (Kristy), Dominique LaSater (Kevin), Jayden Ralph (Autumn) and her 13 great-grandchildren also survive her.
Graveside services will be held at Pine Crest West Cemetery, 1599 Snow Road, Mobile, Alabama on Monday, April 13, 2026 beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Anita loved the Lord Jesus with all her heart and eagerly awaited her meeting with Him. She wishes for those close to her to remember Romans 14:8.
