A native of Anniston, Alabama, and a resident of Mobile since 1974, Ann passed away peacefully on September 6, 2025, at The Retreat Hospice. She dedicated over 30 years of service to Infirmary Health System before retiring in 2011. Ann was a devoted member of Christ United Church and actively involved in her community through the Assistance League of Mobile. She also served as past president of the Mobile Chapter of Executive Women International, reflecting her commitment to leadership and service. Ann was known for her kind and loving spirit to all who knew her. She loved and adored her family and friends.
Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mr. Floyd Wayne Wilson; her parents, Barker and Violet Curry; and her four brothers, Ralph, Bill, Donald, and Jerry Curry. She is survived by her son, Trey Gunderson (Kym), and five grandchildren: Hannah Gunderson, Hartley Gunderson, Hartley Adams (Glenn), Jay Little, and Coleman Little. She is also survived by her stepdaughter, Christy Hamrac, and three grandchildren: Courtney Miller, Zack Miller (Elizabeth), and Sean Miller (Hannah) and five cherished great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her two dearest friends, Susan Payne and Tammy Averette, whose love and devotion went far beyond friendship during her illness. Their care, support, and presence were a true blessing to her and the family.
Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., followed by funeral services in the funeral home chapel beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be in Pine Crest West Cemetery. Rev. Shaun Kaulfers of Christ United Methodist Church will officiate with music provided by Curry Cates and Eulogy by Mark Boles. Pallbearers will be Roger Dodge, Jay Little, Coleman Little, Zack Miller, Sean Miller and Chuck Payne.
