Mr. Auburn Lyn “Aubie” Jones – a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died Thursday, November 3, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Jones was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was well known in Mobile as a heavy truck salesman for over 35 years and was employed with Gulf Coast Trucking for the last few years. He is survived by his wife, Terry Ann Collins Jones; three children, Bryan Jones, Aaron Jones, and Amanda Powers (Greg) Sellers; two brothers, his twin Sammy (Jeannette) Jones and Shelton George (Flower) Jones, Jr.; four sisters, Bobbie (James) Thames, Linda Brown, Jackie Holmes, and Georgie Ballard; four grandchildren, five nieces, three nephews, and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Christ United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 10 A.M. until 11 A.M. on Saturday at the Church. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ United Methodist Church.
